The National Food Suppliers Association continues to picket the National Food Buffer Stock Company, and it’s day three (3) since they started amidst mosquito bites at night.
The group is accusing the CEO of Buffer Stock Hanan Abdul-Wahab for using their monies for his personal aggrandizement leaving them(the suppliers) in abject poverty coupled with banks chasing them and auctioning their collaterized properties.
According to them the Ministry of Education said they’ve paid 90% of their monies to Buffer stock but till the date the CEO, Hanan Abdul Wahab is yet to tell them anything tangible let a lone pay their monies to them as they claim he has been dilly dallying with them and ignoring g their plight.
They are therefore appealing to government to as a matter of urgency pay their monies to the tune of gh 270 million to them and fire the CEO of Buffer Stock for incompetency.
Meanwhile some of this aged women have fallen sick and have been rushed to the hospital but the group seems determined to continue regardless amidst cooking of food and eating at the premises of Buffer stock.
