Wife of Former National Signal Bureau Boss Arrested by EOCO Alongside Husband.

Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) has arrested wife of former National Signal Bureau (NSB) Boss, Angela Adjei-Boateng together with other person.

It would be recalled that on Thursday, her husband Kwabena Adu Boahene who is the immediate past boss of NSB was also picked up by officials of EOCO over an ongoing investigations.

A statement from the office of the Attorney-General stated in part “In a joint operation by investigators from the Attorney-General’s Department and EOCO, Madam Angela Adjei-Boateng, and one other suspect have been arrested in a suburb of Accra.

Madam Angela Adjei-Boateng is the wife of Mr Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the immediate past Director-General of the National Signal Bureau.

The arrests, which took place at about 12 noon today, March 21, 2025, follows Mr Adu-Boahene’s arrest at the Kotoka international airport at about 9 pm last night, March 20, 2025.

The arrests are in respect of investigations into a number of organised financial crimes; and are aimed, primarily, at recovering monies which the State has lost”.
