Adamus Resources Limited has been crowned champions of the 2026 Inter-Mine First Aid and Safety Competition.
The competition was held live on GTV over the weekend as part of the popular ‘What Do U Know?’ quiz .
The quiz brought together five leading mining companies in Ghana to test their knowledge and expertise in first aid and safety in mining.
After the closely contested event, Adamus Resources Limited emerged as the overall winner with 77 points. Newmont Ahafo North and Golden Star Wassa Limited were joint second with 74 points each. Zijin Golden Ridge Limited came third with 73 points while Damang Golden Ridge placed fourth with 52 points.

Dan Afari Yeboah, the seasoned lawyer and moderator of the quiz show, congratulated the participants for Adamus Resources Limited on their brilliance , resilience and competitive spirit.
He underlined the need to inculcate the culture of safety in mining operations , especially among Ghanaian youth who intend to venture into the industry.
Adamus Resources Limited provides employment for about one thousand people in the Nzema area of the Western Region.
The Ghanaian owned company poured its first gold in January 2011.
The State Interests and Governance Authority ( SIGA) describes Adamus Resources Limited as a “ fully functioning mine that conducts its operations in a responsible manner guided by environmental management systems and ethical considerations.”
