Kwahu Business Forum: My Friend and Co- Conspirator Julius Derbrah Conceptualized it-President Mahama
President John Dramani Mahama has revealed that the Kwahu Business Forum [which has become a popular annual event during Easter], was mooted by the Chief of Staff Mr. Julius Derbrah.
President Mahama who was speaking as the Guest Speaker for this year’s Forum held at Kwahu in the Eastern region on Saturday April 19, 2025, credited the Chief of Staff, a man he described as his good friend.
“While planning the trip, my friend and co-conspirator, the Honourable Julius Debrah, formulated the idea that as part of attending the celebrations, we should organise a forum.
This would serve as a platform for me to explain my economic policies and how they would assist business people in transforming and growing their businesses,” he explained.
President Mahama revealed that the idea was well-received by the business community, leading to the birth of the Kwahu Business Forum.
The forum has since become a key event for engaging stakeholders, discussing policy interventions, and exploring strategies to enhance Ghana’s business landscape
The Kwahu Business Forum is a platform aimed at fostering economic growth and supporting Ghanaian entrepreneurs.
