The Director General of National Communications Authority (NCA) Rev. Ing.Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko has expressed his commitment to champion innovation and growth of telecommunications in the country.

He said growth of telecommunications is as important as the existence of the NCA.

Ing Rev. Fianko made the commitment when Digital Realty Ghana paid a courtesy call on him last week.

He explained that Innovation drives growth hence the need for the NCA to make innovation a priority, for the sustenance and development of the telecom sector.

As an electronic communications engineer with over twenty (20) years of expertise in radio frequency spectrum management, telecom and broadcasting regulation, the NCA boss also assured of collaborating with stakeholders and Partners to enhance data infrastructure and connectivity in Ghana.

On his part the Managing Director for Digital Realty, Mr. Joseph Koranteng congratulated the NCA boss and assured him of support and collaboration geared towards the realization of the Director General’s vision of enhancing Ghana’s data infrastructure.
