Assemblies of God Ghana has partnered with the Online Publishers Association of Ghana (OPAG) for the media promotion of the upcoming World Assemblies of God Congress to be held in Accra on the 14th -16th of October 2026.
The Partnership deal was struck after a meeting with the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Ghana, Rev Stephen Yenusom Wengam and the LOC members at the Church headquarters on Thursday.
Under the Partnership agreement OPAG is expected to do publications on the opening ceremony, important plenary sessions, evening revival and closing ceremony.

The General Superintendent commended OPAG for its support to the Church and urged the Association to take charge of the online publicity of the Congress.
“Please identify yourselves with the historic World Assemblies of God Congress as you unlock the full scope of the power you wield and the influence you peddle to help make it an outstanding success”, Rev Wengam urged OPAG President.
As Ghana steals the spotlight of global attention, saturate the off- line and online spaces with quality and edifying content on the World Congress in order to sell our image maximally, and feed media consumers adequately.
This is not a mere church event but a global assignment which must be executed with all consuming seriousness. And when the history of the 10th Triennial Congress of Assemblies of God is written, the Ghanaian media will occupy a unique place for its exceptional role, he added.
On his part the President of OPA, Michael Petit Mawugbe (Efo Mawugbe) expressed appreciation to the General Superintendent and the Assemblies of God Church for the partnership which he said would go a long way to open doors for OPAG for several international events.
He said OPAG has built a credibility for itself as a responsible and erudite Association that prioritizes in ethical and responsible publications.
“OPAG Members have been trained against misinformation and disinformation so they are always very conscious about misinformation. So their priority has always been churning out information and contents that are developmental ”, OPAG President emphasized.
”So General Superintendent be rest assured that OPAG will do a good job. Infact we’ve taken this congress as a world cup” Efo Mawugbe added.
President Mahama and First Lady Lordina Mahama will grace the World Assemblies of God Congress which is under the theme : “Commissioned: One Mandate, Every Nation”.
The Global Chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship and General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Singapore, Rev. Dominic Yeo and former President of Malawi and former General Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Malawi Rev. Lazurus Chakwera, are also expected to grace the occasion.
In total, more than 10 thousand delegates from 100 countries are expected to converge in Accra for the World Congress.
The historic event will serve as a magnet to attract thousands of tourists and a good number of investors to Ghana.
