Play Wright Latif Abubakar’s Globe Productions is celebrating its 15th Anniversary with “Ghana Must Go” Theatrical performances aimed at projecting Ghana’s heritage and culture to the globe.
Speaking at the Anniversary Launch , held on Thursday at the plush Pelican Hotel, in Accra, the CEO of Global Productions, Mr. Latif Abubakar stressed that Ghanaian creativity, when empowered can break boundaries.

He said the Ghana Must Play, anchored by the Anniversary would be staged in all the 16 regions of Ghana and in Europe.
He later called on government to support the creative arts particularly globe Productions as their works is putting Ghana on the world Map.

She said works by the likes of Latif Abubakar Must be supported to help showcase the uniqueness of Ghana’s heritage particularly the Black Star Experience.
She stressed that the Black star experience which is a flagship program of government can better be propagated by theatre emphasizing the need for theatre to be prioritized.
“Black star experience is coming to project Ghana to the world. Ghana must go is one the initiatives”, the Minister said.

The Ketu South Member of Parliament later appealed to Ghanaians to market Ghana by patronizing our food, language wear and tourist sites.
“All the countries that started with us and are ahead of us did it with uniqueness of their language and culture.
Help us connect Ghana to the world.This is our story told through humor.
Let them experience that story that would soon travel the globe”, the MP emphasized.
On his part, the GJA President Albert Kwabena Dwumfour touted the Achievements of GJA to Latif Abubakar, calling on the media to support his works, given the impacts theatre has on the society.

“This theatrical experience, spearheaded by Globe Productions in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, is not just an artistic journey, it is a national campaign. One that uses the stage not merely for entertainment, but as a strategic tool to position Ghana as a top-tier destination for tourism, investment, and cultural influence”, the GJA President emphasized.
