BCM Brouhaha: Angela Ettieh Sets Records Straight

It was the famous George Orwell who said “All propaganda is lies, even when one is telling the truth. I don’t think this matters so long as one knows what one is doing, and why.”

Propaganda certainly is the strategy Paul List, an Australian has employed to destroy a successful Ghanaian Entrepreneur, Angela Attieh formerly Angela List, a woman who selflessly worked hard to turn the fortunes of BCM International which was on the verge of collapse.

For a woman to resign her lucrative job at KPMG, damning all the risks involved to accept to resuscitate a dying company, and making it internationally viable, one can only show her gratitude rather than slander.
But heh! Paul List, Angela’s former husband would have none of that as he has consistently deployed his ‘rented press’ to destroy his former wife- a woman of valour who’s gained international recognition for her steadfastness and business acumen.

For the past 5 years, Angela, has received a barrage of media attacks for no apparent reason under the orders of Paul List, the Australian whose Ghanaian passport was secured for him on a silver platter by the very person he is attacking in the media.

Recent publications against Angela, in a similar malicious unsubstantiated fashion, Paul List’s media ‘henchmen” reported that Angela has been arrested and detained when in fact she was ensconcing in her home with her children.

This wicked publication, ostensibly to cause public disaffection for Angela rather inured to her benefit as the CID Boss confirmed to the media that no such arrest has been effected .

This leaves the machinations of Paul List in limbo as the public would now treat any such diabolic agenda coming from him and his assigns with contempt.

Ordinarily Angela will not dignify such baseless allegations with a response to give it oxygen in the media space. However, the false allegations in the manner presented can be believed by some people hence, for the first time the CEO of Adamus, resources with operations in Nzema, Konongo and other parts of Africa and with over 3,000 employees, has decided to set the records straight.

Addressing the Editors and senior Editors as part of her new year message, the mining mogul revealed that all these attacks begun from the very day she demanded for separation.

She described the attacks on her in the media as orchestrated emphasizing that everything published against her are a figment of one’s imagination which has no bearing to the cardinal truth.

“I have never being charged for corruption or stealing . I’ve never being linked to to someone who has been charged for corruption”, Angela stressed.

How a website-angelist.com was set up and registered in US to further vilify the Nguvu and Adamus Resources CEO by Paul List and his assigns was a tall order for Angela but fortunately, that vicious mission was short lived as Devine Sellasse Agbeti Cyber Security Authority (CSA) moved in swiftly to arrest those behind the website and pulled down the site.

With this sigh of relief following the action of the CSA, Angela is appealing to the media to put a human face to the vitriolic publications against her person as such publications does not affect her business alone but the thousands of employees whose livelihood is dependent upon her flooring business.

“Because if you destroy me, you are not destroying me alone but all the people who rely on me to keep these businesses growing” Angela emphasized.

“It’s been five years of torture”, the mother of 2 sobbingly stressed.

Chapter 12 of the 1992 Constitution spells out clearly the independence of the Press which also requires media responsibility, in this case protecting indigenous companies whose CEOs are being mauled just for people’s selfishness.

Taking inspiration from the constitution particularly, chapter 12, I am convinced that yes “An Australian Can Not Use Ghanaian Media Against successful Ghanaian Entrepreneur: The Case of Paul List’s unprovoked Attack on Adamus CEO.
