Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu has reaffirmed government commitment to supporting both the public and the private media to innovate in order to meet the evolving technological trends.
He stressed that in this era where social media has become vibrant and dominating the media, space it would be disingenuous to any mainstream media which fail to innovate.
The Minister made the statement during a 2-Day workshop organized by PRINPAG in partnership with Bank of Ghana last Friday (January 25-26, 2026).
“It is important to innovate now and create platforms that are accessible and suitable to the needs of the people who you serve now so you save yourselves the difficulty of lagging behind”, Hon. Kwakye Ofosu emphasized.
He however expressed government commitment to partner with the media particularly members of PRINPAG.
It is not your fault. You’ve done everything you cab but technology has advanced.
So as government, we are prepared to partner you in this regard because what you do is so critical”, the Abura Asebu-Kwamankese Member of Parliament reiterated.
