Constitutional Lawyer John Quayson has revealed that the arrest of Ken Ofori Atta by US Immigration Authorities is a well orchestrated move occasioned by Ghana’s good collaboration with the US government.
Speaking in an interview on TV3, on Thursday, the Constitutional Lawyer explained that Ghana has collaborated with US government in extradition Ghanaians to US to face trial.
“This is just a pay back time for US government to return that favor to Ghana government”, he added.
He also stressed that the arrest did not happen out of a vacuum adding that Ghanaian Authorities had a role in it.
“Ken Ofori Atta is a darling boy of America but America is America, they can allow you to have your freedom but when the time is up they will arrest you”, Lawyer Quayson said.
Meanwhile Justice Abdulai has advised Ghana government to act fast for the deportation of Ken Ofori before the determination of his visa extension request.
