“No Amount of Political Twists to Ridge Hospital Incident will Stop me From Delivering on my Mandate”, Hon. Akandoh emphasized.

It would be recalled that over the weekend a Social media enthusiasts Ralph de Fellow Citizen was alleged to have attacked nurses at Ridge hospital for neglecting dying patient.

The Minister was criticized by the General Secretary of GRNMA for shaking hands with Ralph.

“Let me reiterate that nobody has the right to attack any health Professionals that is the gravamen of the issue not handshaking”, Hon Akandoh stated.

But the Juaboso Member of Parliament has fired back at his critics arguing that when he questioned Ralph why he did that, he stretched his hand to greet him adding that he could not have snubbed him in public as a public servant.

He said he has since commissioned an investigation into the incident to know whether or not what transpired is negligence on the part of the nurses or otherwise.

The Health Minister insisted that he will continue working hard in fulfillment of President Mahama’s agenda of ensuring quality primary health care.
