Manhyia South MP ‘s Cover Blown…He Sold SSNIT Property Below Agreed Price and Pocketed Half of the Money-Bernard Bediako
It is emerging that contrary to assertions by Manhyia South MP Agyei Baffour Awuah that EOCO is haunting him because of representing Salomey, Awitti alleged accomplice of Ghana Jollof, Baffour Awuah’s law firm represented State Insurance Company (SIC) in a judgment debt recovery case where, the firm executed a judicial sale of a debtor’s property for GH¢5 million—allegedly below the agreed valuation—and Baffour Awuah pocketed GH¢2.2 million from the proceeds, prompting an investigation by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO
This was disclosed by MP for Akwatia, Hon. Bernard Bediako during TV3 ‘s current Affairs show Key Points on Saturday.
According to Hon. Bediako, the Manhyia South MP was aware of why EOCO was inviting him but tried to gaslight the public.
Meanwhile Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah has strongly denied allegations that he or his law firm improperly took GH¢2.2 million after selling a property below market value.
Instead he said he took 15% of the judgmental debt as legal fees but failed to mention the amount drawing conclusion from the public that there is indeed a case to answer.
