In an interview with Ouerwpa monitored by senaradioonline.com, Owusu Bempah blamed the 2024 defeat on Dr. Bawumia saying the grassroots were unhappy with his candidature.

“For the first time I saw a taxi driver who is an NPP member and told me he voted for the NDC. He even showed me his party card. His reason was simple:we didn’t choose the right candidate.

Over 2.1 million people did not vote for the NPP because they did not approve of our presidential Candidate”, he said.

He said there are so many things happening in Ghana adding that the truth is that ordinary Ghanaians want the NPP to change their presidential Candidate.
