OPAG PAresident, Michael Petit Mawugbe (Efo Mawugbe)
An invitation extended to the OPAG President by the SPI Secretariat read :  “Your experience and institutional leadership within the media particularly online, would bring valuable technical insight and normative guidance to the drafting discussions, ensuring that the Charter reflects professional standards and regional realities.

The 3-Day Forum which begins on 26th March to 28th March, 2026, will provide a strategic platform for dialogue among policymakers, security actors, civil society, and media practitioners to define actionable commitments for sustainable peace in the Sahel and West Africa. Your contribution to the Media Charter component will be particularly instrumental in shaping a credible and forward-looking framework”.

Efo Mawugbe, who is the Managing Editor for senaradioonline.com and the Exposé Newspaper will also participate in a Resource Mobilization Forum for SPI on the sidelines of the main Conference.
