GAF Places 7 Military Officers Under Close Arrest Over Assault of 3 Civilians in Kumasi

Ghana Armed Forces has placed on close arrest seven (7) military officers who reportedly assaulted 3 civilians who stole a phone from another civilian in Kumasi.

A statement issued by Director General of GAF Public Affairs, Brigadier General Aggrey Quarshie said the Ashanti regional Miliatry police and the Ashanti regional Police CID are investigating the case.

“The officers and the Soldiers have been placed on closed arrest whilst investigation continues”, the statement said.
