Exactly one week ago, we hosted the global Assemblies of God family in Ghana for the 10th World Assemblies of God Congress. It was a monumental task, one that demanded years of prayer, sacrifice, planning, and preparation. But by the help of God, we prevailed!
For years, we fasted, prayed, planned, and prepared at different levels for this historic gathering. It was an enormous responsibility, but God’s grace proved sufficient, and we witnessed a remarkable manifestation of His faithfulness.

The morning sessions recorded an attendance of over 10,000 participants daily, while the evening revival rallies drew a combined attendance of over 80,000 people across the three days. The revival was powerful, the impact phenomenal, and every speaker was a blessing to the global Church.
I am deeply grateful to H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, who graced the opening ceremony alongside other distinguished dignitaries and also joined us for the closing ceremony. My sincere appreciation also goes to H.E. Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, former President of Malawi, who stayed through the congress and ministered powerfully at our Global Thanksgiving Service.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to the Local Organising Committee Chairman, Rev. Andrews Awintia, and his dedicated team, which included representatives from Ghana’s security agencies. I also appreciate Mr. Fred Darko and the Evolution team, our event management partners, whose expertise and commitment contributed immensely to the success of the congress.

To the Government of Ghana, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the various government institutions, corporate bodies, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and everyone who supported this assignment in diverse ways, I say a heartfelt thank you. Your contributions made a significant difference.
Africa will not be the same after this visitation. History has been made, God has been glorified, and Ghana has shone brightly before the nations. We have demonstrated what is possible when God’s people unite in prayer, purpose, and commitment to His mission.

To the Assemblies of God, Ghana, let us not rest on our laurels. Let us build on this momentum, embrace the next measure of growth, and continue to walk faithfully in the footsteps of our fathers.
The congress may be over, but the mandate remains. The fire must keep burning, the Gospel must keep advancing, and the world must hear the message of Jesus Christ.
To God alone be all the glory!
