Cyber Security Authority(CSA), National Security Round Up Nigerians Engaging in Romance Scam at Kasoa Tuba
A joint operation between Cyber Security Authority and National Security has resulted in the arrest of Nugerians engaging in romance scam.
The team struck at the base of the Cyber criminals on the dawn of Saturday at Kasoa -Tuba in the Awutu Senya district of the Central region.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Communications and Digitalization Hon. Sam George on his face book wall which read in part:
Kudos to the team at the Cyber Security Authority Ghana once again.
This dawn, another massive blow has been struck against cybercrime in Ghana. A joint operation between the Authority and National Security resulted in the arrest of 32 Nigerians operating a romance scam syndicate in Kasoa Tuba.
We will continue to support the Authority in its efforts to do more as we make Ghana an unattractive destination for cybercrimes.
