Ato Forson Assures Benso Oil Palm of Investment Support
Finance Minister, Dr. Casiel Ato Forson has stressed that oil palm industry can unlock massive job opportunities, empower rural communities, and drive Ghana’s transformation agenda.
He has therefore assured them of government support in order to boost the palm oil industry.
This was contained in a Facebook post on Tuesday saying in part :
“While in the Western Region, I made a stop at the Benso Oil Palm Plantation in Adum Abanso, where I interacted with workers and smallholder farmers.
Our discussions focused on how renewed investment and attention to the oil palm industry can unlock massive job opportunities, empower rural communities, and drive Ghana’s transformation agenda!
