Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has unveiled the Passport Application Centre in Oti region.
The Minister disclosed this on his Facebook wall on Monday.
Below is his statement on his Facebook wall
No more inconvenient 6-hour-travels to Accra for biometrics and another trip for pickup.

Ghanaians in all 16 regions deserve fair access to public services.

30% reduction, e-Tracking, courier delivery, special expedited-same-day-service and delivery under 15-days are all now available in Oti.

I also announce heightened security measures to ensure no foreigner obtains a Ghanaian passport, particularly as Oti is a border region. I held a crucial meeting with the security chiefs of the Region to secure their full cooperation in this regard.

I am grateful to the eminent chiefs, Regional Minister, MPs, MDCEs MFA Directors and all partners for the support.
President Mahama’s Reset is Real.
We shall leave no region behind.
For God and Country 🇬🇭 🙏🏾
