Spokesperson for the Families , Mr. Emmanuel Gershon Oduro explained that no compensation has come through to the families after 20 years of losing their lobed ones through the dastardly act of murder.

He revealed that the only money they received was the one government at the time gave to them to be used for the funeral of their departed souls.

The families therefore appealed to government to prevail upon the Gambian Authorities to pay full compensation to them as children of murdered Ghanaians are suffering.

“So we plead on government and the Foreign Minister to come to our aid and also help us in the reparation so that atleast the victims can have some console and also solace in that reparation.

Because what ever that has been done, they can not bring back the lives of the victims so we are asking them to help us to take care of our families so that we the sons and daughters of the victims can also better our lives”, A son of one of the victims appealed.
