Centre for Policy Research and Analysis (CePRA ) has predicted a 60% victory for Charles Mawusi in Monday’s Ghana Journalists Association ‘s elections.
According to CePRA, they arrived at that results following an interview of one thousand (1,000) GJA members across the country.

According to him, the current President would garner 40% percent of votes at the end of the elections
The Director of Research at CePRA U.L Mustapha Latif disclosed this in an interview with the Exposé on Saturday.
He disclosed that the polls revealed a number of members showing enthusiasm of the promises of Mr.Charles Mawusi as opposed to his opponent in the race.
“Per our research findings GJA members seemed convinced with what they themselves describe as superior and compelling promises by Charles Mawusi”, CePRA Director stressed.
Mr. Mustapha also revealed that GJA elections have always been determined by the state media maintaining that the four(4) state media appear to be rooting for Charles Mawusi, an indication of victory for Charles Mawusi
He also revealed that the regional votes which went in favour of the current President in the last elections, will this time round go for Charles Mawusi due to the regional offices Mr. Mawusi has promised them.

“The regional Journalists are upbeat to see a transformation at the regional level and it is the reason they would vote massively for Charles Mawusi”, Mr. Mustapha emphasized.
It would be recalled that CePRA predicted 67% percent victory for the NDC and John Mahama in the 2024 elections, making them one of the credible research institutions.
Judging by the track record of accurate prediction by CePRA, Members of the Journalism Fraternity can be assured of a resounding victory for Charles Mawusi who is proposing comprehensive welfare policy, establishment of regional offices building of a hostel at the Press centre among others.
