Former President John Mahama has reiterated his commitment to build Ghana with the citizenry at heart devoid of family and friends.
He said he needs to reciprocate the support he has enjoyed from the people over the past years by working hard for all to benefit.
Mr. Mahama was speaking at the launch of his campaign on Thursday at the Auditorium of UHAS, in the Volta region under the theme “Building the Ghana We Want Together”.
“I will return your generosity with hard work in the presidency of Ghana
The next NDC government will not be about me or about forming cadres of family and friends to enrich themselves. The next government is about you”, former President Mahama emphasized.
He added “I promise you hard work. we shall build the most formidable party every Ghanaian will be proud to associate with”.
Mr. Mahama who is seeking to be elected to be the Flagbearer of the Party in May this later stressed that the NDC is the party with enviable track record of having built the most roads, expanded health and education infrastructure in the country.
Mr. Mahama later thanked all Party faithful, friends and sympathizers who have supported his cause all this while.
