The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadieyo Agyemang Badu has appealed to the Attorney General, Mr. Godfred Dame to discontinue the criminal case against Gyakye Quayson.
The respected Chief also called on President Akufo Addo to prevail on Godfred Dame to file a nolle Prosequi on Guakye Quayson’s trial.
The Dormaahene who was addressing a gathering in Dormaa on Saturday described the trial as unnecessary adding that it is an insult to the people of Assin North.
“Didn’t the Assin people vote massively for him?. So the trial must stop otherwise it’s an insult to the people of Assin North
I am appealing to the President and the Attorney general to stop the trial. I don’t see how his trial benefits Ghanaians”, the revered Chief averred.
