Former Atrorney General under erstwhile Kufour administration Mr. Ayikoi Otoo has waded into NPP Presidential race and called on Vice President Bawumia to rescind his decision for the flagbearership position and allow Alan Kyeremanten to lead the Party going into the 2024 election.

He argued that going by the established tradition in the NPP, Alan Kyeremanten is the next Candidate to lead the NPP.
The former Law maker was speaking in an interview with Joy News monitored by senaradioonline.com.
“Wave Your Interest; Its Alan’s time”, Mr. Otoo said.
According to him Dr. Bawumia still has age on his side and therefore must not rush in this presidential race.
On the perception of he( Bawumia) has the resources, the one term Attorney General said “no body is disputing that he has money but people can chop the money but you can tell them what to do at the ballot”.
The NPP’s Presidential race is slated for November 2023, but ahead of the day, All Presidential Aspirants have intensified their campaign in all regions.
