According to him the fact that he and his colleagues are accepting their friend request does not abdicate them them from prosecution.

He insisted that any past NPP Minister found culpable of corruption would face full rigours of the law.

Mr. Gbande who has been appointed Deputy National Security Coordinator was speaking at a forum in Accra.

His comments have generated wide conversation on social media as NDC Sympathizers are urging the NDC Ministers to ignore them and ensure their prosecution.

They argue that ensuring the prosecution of past NPP Ministers and their subsequent incarceration would appease Ghanaians who overwhelmingly endorsed the NDC and John Mahama in the 2024 elections.

Meanwhile, Gifty Oware Aboagye-Mensah, the NSS Ghost Names suspect who so far, is the first official of NPP to have been arrested, is still behind bars at the NIB and it is believed that she will be taken to court on Monday.
