The President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has hailed Ghana’s best road contractor, Mr Kofi Gyebi Job, for the quality of work he delivers for the state. According to the president, Mr Kofi Gyebi Job worked diligently to provide strong and quality road projects during his first administration.The president said this while cutting sod for the construction of a number of roads at Sunyani in the Bono Region on Sunday, December 21, 2025.
“I gave a road contract to Kofi Job, from Gambia to Kyeremasu during my first administration and he delivered a very quality project,” he said.
“He worked on the project with fast pace and even tiled the road, that’s the first coat, but unfortunately we left government and the NPP government halted that project,” he added.
“Now we have to go back and find money to complete the road project but just as I have emphasized, we will come back to work on the road again.”
President John Dramani Mahama however appealed to Mr Kofi Gyebi Job to return to site and begin the project, adding that government is working on a new contract for the road.
