Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association has apologized to Health Minister, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh over its comments on the alleged nurse assault at Ridge Hospital.
The General Secretary of the Association Dr. David Tenkorang-Twum had passed disparaging comments against the Minister over how he handled the matter.
But President of the Association, Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, realizing the gaffe of her General Secretary which has resulted in tension between the two institutions, decided to do the needful.
Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo and General Secretary, Dr. David Tenkorang-Twum met the Minister today to render the apology.
The apology which was accepted by the Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh brings to a finality what has become the GRNMA/Health Ministry fracas.
