Two Chinese and their Ghanaian Counterpart Arrested Over Galamsey at Tano-Anwia Forest Reserve

Two Chinese nationals and two Ghanaians have been arrested for illegal mining in the Tano-Anwia Forest Reserve in the Aowin Municipality, Western Region.

The Forestry Commission’s Rapid Response Team and Police carried out the operation after JoyNews exposed ongoing mining activities in protected forest reserves.
