Reciting the station of the cross, Parishioners took to the principal street of North Kaneshie to demonstrate the excruciating pain the saviour, Jesus Christ suffered because of our sins.

The Stations of the Cross are a significant Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s passion and death.

It is a series of 14 stations, each representing a significant event in the final hours of Jesus’ life, from his condemnation to his entombment.

The practice is often associated with the Via Dolorosa (the path Jesus walked to his crucifixion through Jerusalem to Calvary).

The station of the Cross was led by the Parish Priest, Rev. Father Francis Destiny Amenuvor.
