The Police administration has interdicted COP Alex Mensah over what has been famously known as the IGP Leaked Tape.
The interdiction of the tough speaking senior Police officer follows his alleged involvement in a meeting to oust the IGP and his subsequent appearance before the Parliamentary Committee probing the scandal; at which appearance he made yet startling revelations in the police Service.
COP Alex Mensah’s interdiction which was contained in a Police wireless message sent to him was signed by Director General, Administration, COP Christian Tetteh Yohonu, a copy of which senaradioonline.com has stumbled upon.
The statement read “Kindly be informed that you are interdicted with immediate effect following your involvement in the leaked tape being investigated by Parliament”.
“You are to hand over your weapons, uniforms and other police accoutrements and or properties including your authority badge to DEPOL LOGISTICS”, the statement added.
