About 30 climate Change inclined Journalists, last Thursday, (October 16, 2025) were trained in Climate change adaptations and the need to intensify coverage on climate change particularly air pollution by framing stories that sensitize the public about the menace.
Environmental Communicator, Madam Ama Kudom-Agyemang emphasized the need for the media to focus more on success stories that highlight how people are adapting and developing solutions and how they are using new technologies that helps in limiting climate change.
This strategy, she said is the only way climate change adaptations awareness creation would go down to the people.

Managing Editor of Climate Watch Africa, Ishmael Baafi appealed to the media to prioritize the coverage of climate change issues.
He said climate change affects affect every one including Journalists hence the need to scale up interest in it’s coverage.
The workshop saw Experts like Dr. Stanley Kweku Yaidoo and Dr. Elvis Kyere-Gyeabour taking the media through the impacts of air pollution to public health and Concentration of air polluted air versus exposure to polluted air respectively.
