Live update from the Akwatia by-election has revealed that the NDC’s Bernard Beasoako is in the comfortable lead.
Provsional results as at 6:30 pm out 91 polling stations indicate that the NDC polled 13,784 and the NPP’s Solomon Asumadu managed 10, 391.
Total votes cast is 24, 175. Barring any changes in the trends so far the NDC Cansidate will be declared winner of the Akwatia by-election.
