“Don’t come to me with lamentations and your Challenges, Only come with your solutions and achievements

“This government will not tolerate lamentations and challenges from your Sectors”the Minister emphasized.

Boards members for National Blood Service, National Ambulance Service, Ghana Mental Health Authority, Ghana College of Parmacists, Allied Health Professions Council and Traditional Medicine Practice.

“..It is not going to be business as usual”, he added.

The Juaboso Member of Parliament later stressed that these six institutions touch every stage of care, from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and recovery hence must work to achieve their missions and visions.

He said the Boards are not being called to oversee merely but are being called to steer assuring however that the Ministry of Health will support the Boards with policy, coordination, and systems.

“But we will also expect results, because real regulation is not about paperwork. It’s about protecting lives, building trust, and keeping the promise of health for all”, he indicated.

“…So I encourage you:
• Work across agencies.
• Let data guide your decisions.
• And above all, keep the Ghanaian patient—urban or rural, rich or poor—at the centre of your mandate”, Hon. Akandoh advised.
