Supreme Court Scraps Delegates System…Says All Card Bearing Members Must Vote
The Supreme Court in a 5-2 ruling has scrapped the delegates system and ruled that all Card bearing Members of a Party must Vote.
This decision by the Supreme Court cures the monetization system which has characterized Ghana’s political system over the last 2 decades.
Many Political Connoisseurs and CSOs including the CDD have described the decision as victory for democracy.
The case was filed by Dr. Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe, Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng and Christine Amoako Nuamah
