Pop and pageantry, dancing and drumming are expected to characterize the filing of nominations by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday owing to his seeming popularity amongst the rank and file of the Party.
The Vice President who is seeking to be elected as Flagbearer of the NPP has received tacit endorsement from the majority of NPP Parliamentarians and it is expected that the MPs will throng the Asylum Down Heaquarters of the NPP to rally support for him.
On Monday, Alan Kyeremanten, one of the Flagbearer hopefuls filed his nomination but rather on a low key triggering discussions that Alan may have lost the clout he had in times past, hence the uninspiring support.
Dr. Bawumia on the other hand continues to receive support from the grass roots and Party kingpins making him a front runner in the impending NPP Presidential Primaries slated for November this year.
According to credible political Watchers all odds go in favour of Dr. Bawumia taking into consideration how both the Northers, Southerners Muslims and Christians have accepted him.
