Presidential primary: NDC goes to the polls May 6

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), the country’s largest opposition party, will hold elections on May 6, 2023, to select its flagbearer ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Nominations will be open from Monday, February 22 to Wednesday, February 24, 2023, according to a proposed timetable issued following the party’s Functional and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting on Thursday, while submission and filing of forms will take place from Monday, March 20, 2023, to Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

The aspirants would then be vetted from Monday, March 27, 2023 to Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
