Health Minister Launches Health Training Institutions Admissions Portal…Over 500 Apply in Less than 1hour

Health Minister, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has launched the Health Institutions Admissions Portal aimed at ensuring efficiency and integrity.

Speaking at the launch, the Minister explained that this portal is easy and friendly to Prospective Applicants adding that it has come to replace the previously cumbersome one.

Health Minister, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh

Under the new Portal, Applicants are to open the Health Institutions Admissions Portal, check their eligibility and make electronic payment of gh150.00 after which a PIN would be generated for the Applicants to begin the application process.

“Please don’t go and give money to anybody for a short code. You can apply where ever you are”, the Minister advised.

According to the Juaboso Member of Parliament, the initiative is part of government’s resetting agenda.

He however warned Applicants to make sure they qualify before making the payment as payments made, he said are non-refundable.

“We want everybody to be part of the resetting agenda”, Hon. Akandoh.stressed.
