The Northern regional GJA has condemned the attack on their member by a known political activist in the region by name Hardi Pagazaa, believed to be former NDC Deputy Communications officer.
In the video which is making rounds on social media, Hardi could be conspicuously seen holding the Dagbon Presenter Sidiq Abubakari Gariba by neck and shirt amidst exchange of words.
The Association has further ordered all stations and media outlets in the region to place him on blacklist to serve as a deterrent to others.
A statement issued by the Association also appealed to the Police to investigate the matter and prosecute him if found culpable.
What was shocking and till now causing tongues wagging was the fact that the attack was done at the time the world was commemorating World Press Freedom Day.
