Arrest Stray Goats, Cows and Sell them for your Project-Sanitation Minister

Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources Madam Cecilia Abena Dapaah has advised Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to arrest stray animals and sell them to defray the cost of their sanitation needs.

The Minister said this upon a visit to some MMDAs on Thursday.

The Minister who was outraged over nuisance caused by stray animals said “ I am asking you to seize and arrest if I can say that any stray animal and sell them for your projects.

The Minister’s outburst has triggered mixed reactions from the public who think that her utterance is below the belt.

However, there are others who also support the Minister arguing that stray animals are causing harm to people’s farms and properties.
