Lands Minister Inaugurates Six-Member Committee to Investigate Sale of State Lands

Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah on Wednesday inaugurated a six member committee to investigate the sale of State Lands which was widespread under the erstwhile NPP regime.

The six member committee which was inaugurated today by the sector Minister has up to 31st July to submit a report.

Hon. Armah Buah charged them to be diligent in their work whilst eschewing political and selfish interest.

He said it is his view that the Committee would unravel all shady sale of State Lands by the past government.

The Minister also urged them to be particular about the costs of the state lands sold and check if the value of the land commensurates with the cost.
