ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, GHANA, URGES FULL PARTICIPATION IN NATIONAL CLEAN-UP EXERCISE
The Executive Presbytery of Assemblies of God, Ghana, is calling for full participation of all its church members and the Christian community in the national clean-up exercises scheduled to take place on Friday 1 0th July 2026 and Saturday 1 I th July 2026.
Assemblies of God, Ghana, deeply condoles with families of Ghanaians and other nationals who lost their loved ones and profoundly sympathizes with those whose properties were destroyed in the horrendous floods.
This recurring disaster underlines the imperative necessity to muster political will and initiate bolts and nuts measures to save precious lives and minimize significantly the destructive impacts of flooding across the country. The national clean-up exercises present the first test of our resolve as Ghanaians to change the pitiable narrative and open a new chapter of environmental cleanliness and sanitation consciousness.
In view ofthis, Assemblies of God, Ghana, asks all its pastors, members and other faith-based groups to actively join the clean-up exercises in their communities.
We understand that faith is not just private devotion – it is also public action. An action to keep the environment clean must not only reflect in periodic exercises but the constant practice of all Christians and all Ghanaians in general.
Contextually, we must let our light copiously shine before other members of society so that they may see our good works of environmental stewardship and give glory to our Father in heaven. Thank you all.
