Health Minister Lauds GIZ for the Donation of Essential Medical Equipment under the–GIZ AYA CVD and Diabetes Initiative.
The Minister for Health Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has lauded the GIZ for the donation of essential medical equipment under GIZ AYA CVD and Diabetes Initiative.

Speaking at a ceremony in Accra on Monday to receive the medical equipment, the Health Minister emphasized that the donation would go a long way to support health facilities nationwide.
“This intervention will strengthen over 170 health facilities across seven regions, improving early detection and management of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes”, the Juabose Member of Parliament stressed.
He also indicated that the donation is in line with President Mahama’s Reset Agenda and ‘our commitment to Free Primary Healthcare”.
“We remain committed to building a stronger, more responsive primary healthcare system for all Ghanaians”, he added.
