The Ghana Cocoa Board as at this morning, has disbursed an amount of GH¢854 million to Licensed Buying Companies (LBCs), bringing the total payments made so far to GH¢1.091 billion.
This payment forms part of COCOBOD’s ongoing efforts to settle financial obligations within the cocoa sector and ensure smooth operations across the cocoa value chain.
The disbursement is expected to support LBCs in meeting their commitments to cocoa farmers, strengthen purchasing activities, and sustain confidence in the cocoa marketing system as the season progresses.
