Finding solutions to Problems in the Rural Areas Requires Presence in the Rural Areas-Akandoh
Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has stated that finding solutions to problems in the rural areas requires a visit by sector Ministers to ascertain the magnitude of the problems.
This was captured on the Facebook wall of the Minister on Tuesday which read in part:
“Yesterday, as part of my Oti Regional Tour, I made a stop at the Oti Regional Health Directorate in Worawora
The purpose of the tour is to engage key stakeholders on strategies to improve health outcomes in the region, inspect the proposed site for the Oti Regional Hospital, follow up on the posting of medical officers, and initiate an audit of health facilities to assess their needs.
The tour continues today.
